Sneak peek: What’s on the horizon for Pigments by Liv in 2021

Pigments by Liv 2021

I think we can all agree that 2020 hasn’t been the best of years, to put it lightly. This is why I am so incredibly excited for the new year! I’ve got so many ideas buzzing around my head for Pigments by Liv in 2021. I thought I’d share them with you, and maybe you’ll feel a bit more excited for 2021 too!

I also believe that if I write my goals down for all to see, I’ll be more motivated to stick to them. Coming up with ideas is my favourite part of any development process, but big ideas generally need a lot of time and effort to be brought to life. This is the Pigments by Liv commitment to building a better brand, a greener world, and therefore a better home for animals.

More Pigments by Liv animal collections!

Of course, this had to be number one on the Pigments by Liv 2021 vision! Each time you suggest a new animal collection, I write it down on a little sticky note, placed in the corner of my desktop. I love to listen to your ideas!

On the sticky note, I’ve written down 14 of your brilliant ideas, which I’ll continue to add to. Don’t tell anyone but an insect, primate, and bird collection are all on the cards. My dream is also to do a clouded leopard collection, as they’re my favourite animal. For now, it’s our little secret…

Animal Conservation | Pigments by Liv

Each month of 2021 I plan on releasing a new animal collection that will donate 10% of sales towards a specially selected environmental charity, one that supports animal conservation. In 2021, you can expect 12 NEW nature-inspired collections, full of sustainable goodies. This means a greater (bio)diversity in donations by supporting more conservation charities!

Inspired by nature, to give back to nature

After such a successful launch of the Limited-Edition Tiger Collection, I want to make all future Pigments by Liv collections finite. The Limited-Edition Tiger Collection only included 125 items; each item represented one of the wild tigers roaming free in Bandhavgarh National Park. The park that Tigers4ever, the charity your purchases donated to!

This is important because I want every single Pigments by Liv collection to support animal conservation. By limiting each collection, I hope to convey the message that this beautiful planet, the abundance of habitats, and the diversity of animals is finite. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. This is why we are all trying super hard to make more sustainable choices!

As there will no longer be an endless supply of sustainable goodies, I will be releasing each new collection to Pigments by Liv email subscribers first. A couple of days (maybe even a week!) before everyone else, I will add the collection to the secret species shop which exclusively accessible to subscribers. That means, if you want to be first in line each time a new animal is released, then definitely subscribe to the mailing list below!

Animal conservation freebies!

Whilst we are talking about exclusive access, I am planning to create a few downloadable freebies to thank you for subscribing to the Pigments by Liv pod. These animal conservation freebies will help you keep up to date with what’s going on within the Animal Kingdom, how each donation is helping to maintain biodiversity, and other ways you can help the planet too!

I don’t want to say too much, except that they will only be accessible to email subscribers. I just need to start making them… if you have any graphic design tips please do send them my way! I’ve seen lots of ideas on Pinterest, so we’ll see how it goes.

12 Chats with Conservationists

I love the Chats with Conservationists blog series. I was never bright enough at school to study biology, I never seemed to understand the questions, so I deeply admire all the conservationists featured! I have one more chat to share with you in January, but after that, I need to find some more conservationists to chat to.

If you fancy a chinwag, then please contact me. We’ve discovered so much about insects, marine animals, and elephants! I hope we can continue to learn more about animal conservation together!
